Prior to the 2023 NFL draft, Coach Keenan was invited to participate in workouts and meetings with the New York Jets. During the draft he also earned the opportunity to join the Jets for their Rookie Minicamp. Coach Keenan embraced the challenge of playing both cornerback and nickel positions.
After his last season at Rutgers, Keenan began intensive training for 3 months to prepare for his pro day at Rutgers University, where all 32 NFL scouts attended.

Seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, Coach Keenan decided to transfer to Rutgers University to continue his football career. Despite starting as a walk-on in 2020, his undeniable talent and relentless work ethic earned him a scholarship after his first season. In 2022, he proudly graduated from Rutgers with a degree in Journalism, exemplifying his commitment to both academic and athletic excellence.
Straight out of high school, Coach Keenan started his college football journey at Lincoln University, leaving a mark on the field. He was a starter for three years, showcasing exceptional skill and leadership. Notably, he earned team captain at the end of his freshman year in the CIAA as a defensive back. Coach Keenan's influence extended beyond defensive back, as he made significant contributions to special teams. He broke records for most blocked kicks in both a single game and an entire season! Evidently, Coach Keenan's impact transcended statistics, leaving a legacy of excellence and resilience on and off the field.
